Three years ago, my dad was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Since then, he began a very difficult journey that included intense chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

After three years of procedures and fighting through the illness, he was finally able to undergo surgery, which was successful. However, about a year ago we received another very hard piece of news. Doctors found a cancerous tumor in his liver, which is currently about 7 cm in size. Since then, we have continued this fight together as a family.

Right now, my dad is undergoing chemotherapy again, which makes it impossible for him to work. Because of this, it has become extremely difficult for us to cover the costs of medications, treatments, and hospital expenses. That is why I decided to start this fundraiser—to help my dad continue his treatment and relieve some of the financial burden our family is facing during this difficult time. Any support, no matter how small, means the world to us.

Hace tres años, a mi papá le diagnosticaron cáncer colorrectal. Desde entonces comenzó un camino muy difícil que incluyó intensos tratamientos de quimioterapia y radiación. Después de tres años de procedimientos y de luchar contra la enfermedad, finalmente pudo someterse a una cirugía que fue exitosa.

Sin embargo, hace aproximadamente un año recibimos otra noticia muy dura. Los médicos encontraron un tumor cancerígeno en su hígado, que actualmente mide alrededor de 7 cm. Desde entonces hemos continuado esta lucha juntos como familia.

En estos momentos, mi papá está nuevamente en proceso de quimioterapia, y los médicos nos han indicado que el tratamiento será por tiempo indefinido. Aún no sabemos cuántas sesiones de quimioterapia necesitará, por lo que estamos enfrentando esta situación día a día, luchando con esperanza y fortaleza.

Debido a estos tratamientos, mi papá no puede trabajar, lo que ha hecho que sea muy difícil cubrir los costos de medicamentos, tratamientos y gastos hospitalarios.

Por esa razón decidí iniciar esta recaudación de fondos: para ayudar a mi papá a continuar con su tratamiento y aliviar parte de la carga económica que nuestra familia está enfrentando en este momento tan difícil. Cualquier apoyo, por pequeño que sea, significa muchísimo para nosotros.
