Hello! My name is Barbara, and I am raising funds to help my dad receive urgent cancer treatment in Brazil.

Recently, my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer and doctors have advised that he will need complex surgery and intensive care (ICU) after the procedure. Because of the complexity of the surgery, it must be performed at a specialized hospital.

Unfortunately, my dad does not have private health insurance, and the waiting time through the public healthcare system in Brazil is extremely long. His doctors have advised that waiting too long could allow the cancer to progress, so we are trying to move forward with treatment as soon as possible.

The funds raised will help cover surgery, hospital costs, ICU care, medications, and recovery expenses.

My dad is a hardworking and loving person who has always done everything he could for our family. Watching him go through this has been incredibly difficult, and we are doing everything we can to help him receive the treatment he urgently needs.
