My dad has been battling cancer since 2019. This past summer, he started his fourth fight with cancer: this time in the lungs and colorectal area. He has bravely undergone 11 rounds of chemotherapy, with one more to go, but his health needs to improve before he can continue. The chemotherapy has taken a significant toll on him—he has become very weak, lost a lot of weight, and his nutrition isn’t where it should be because of the side effects of treatment.

Recently, due to his weakened state and poor nutrition, my dad fell and broke his ankle and hurt his MCL in his knee. He will be having surgery on his ankle on February 20th. This has made things even more challenging, as he is now unable to work for the next few months. My dad is one of the hardest working people I know. He has always been there for us, doing whatever he needed to support our family, and it’s difficult to see him struggle like this.

We as a family—my brothers Lane and Luke, myself, and my mom—have tried to support my dad in every way possible, but we could use some help from friends, family, and the community.

Even with all the challenges, my dad stays positive and takes things one day at a time. He always tries to look on the bright side and find the best in every situation, which helps keep our family hopeful.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover his medical bills and, most importantly, his living expenses while he recovers. The many hospital stays, medical visits, and ongoing cancer treatment have made it impossible for him to work consistently. Your generosity will help relieve some of the financial burden and allow my dad to focus on what matters most—healing and regaining his strength. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for keeping our family in your thoughts.
