I’m raising funds for my dad, who was taken by ICE and is currently being held in detention.

My dad has a work permit and an asylum process underway. He also has a Social Security number and had been working legally in this country with all of the documents, but he is still being detained. Since he has been taken away, he has not been able to provide for my mom and my little sister, and our family is struggling with the impact of having him gone.

The funds from this fundraiser will help with the lawyer, utility bills, and the bond needed to get him out of detention. He also has a court date on October 15th, with a final court date after that, so this support is urgently needed as our family tries to get through the legal process and keep up with basic bills at home.
