This summer I get the amazing opportunity to intern at Citizens Church under the Creative Director in Redlands California starting May 31st-July 26th. Growing up in Georgia I have always been in the Bible Belt and have been around religion my entire life. Ever since coming to Highlands College it has been on my heart to go somewhere outside of the Bible Belt to see and learn how the local church leads and disciples. It is even more exciting that I have a passion for all things creative in the church and to get to go to a state that is known for its creativity. I’m so overwhelmed with joy that I will get to learn more about media and design in the local church! All this is ultimately for the goal of advancing the Kingdom!
