I'm raising funds for my Colon Cancer Journey.
On 6/11/2025, I was diagnosed with pT3 Colon Cancer after surgery to remove a large tumor found in my Transverse Colon. Per my Oncologist, I'm looking at 4-6 months of Chemotherapy starting the middle of July. With everything moving so quickly and happening so suddenly, I'm hoping to raise funds just to get through the first 4-6 weeks of unexpected expenses such as appointment and medication copays, grocery shopping for new dietary needs, and items needed/desired during treatment such as (prices are based on a quick Google Search):
- Set of cooling mitts and socks with an extra set of ice packs to reduce the risk of neuropathy ($70).
- Cooler bag for treatment days ($30).
- Countertop Water Distiller, Extra Carafes, and Ice Cube Trays; per Oncologist I can no longer drink/use un-boiled or non-distilled water (which includes most commercially bottled water), use ice that comes from a machine that can't be taken apart and sanitized, and have to use boiled or distilled water to make ice. ($100).
- 3-5 chemo shirts with zippers for port access ($60-100).
- Seatbelt pad to protect port site while in vehicles ($10).
- Crossbody bag to hold/protect infusion pump ($25).
...and any other necessities as my Husband and I navigate the first 4-6 weeks of treatment.
We thank you in advance.
