Hi, my name is Christina, and I'm an incoming freshman at Prairie View A&M University.

I've worked very hard to get here, and I'm excited to start my college journey, but a sudden and painful change in my family has made that future uncertain. My mom has recently and unexpectedly become a single mother with no financial assistance for college.

My mom and I are doing our best to adjust, but this happened right before school started, and we are not in a financial position to make up the difference in such a short time. I'm seeking help to ensure I don’t lose the opportunity to attend college due to circumstances beyond my control.
