Hi, my name is Hannah and I'm a senior in nursing school at FAU. Although nursing is my major, I am extremely passionate about music and performance. I have been singing since I was 10 years old, and I have always dreamed of singing around the world. The FAU Women's Choir has been granted a huge opportunity to perform in Ireland to sing the premiere of Michael McGlynn's work "The Wind in the Reeds". Personally, I have never had an opportunity like this before and would love to go as it is a once in a lifetime chance.
However, we’re struggling with fundraising, and every student will have to pay around $3000-$4000 out of pocket. I really want to go and be able to experience something beautiful. Our choir has done amazing work and being able to sing the world premiere of this music is an absolute dream. Thank you for supporting music and giving me the opportunity to sing across the world.
