Hi, my name is Melanie and I am 32 y/o.
As some of you might know I am dying because I have cancer that no longer can be cured. In February 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It has now been over a year since my journey started and I have gone through a lot of chemotherapy treatments. In the summer of 2024 I finally got the good news from my doctors that we could do a surgery to try to remove as much of the cancer as possible. But during the surgery they saw that the cancer had spread far more than expected and that it would not be possible to remove any of the cancer at all. The cancer has now spread to more than 10 different parts of my body. High costs for doctor appointments, medications and hospital bills is killing me. Since I no longer can work and do not have enough money to pay my rent and other important bills, It has been really tough as I live alone. I have issues of cooking and need to order food more often as my fatigue and pain is rough. I also need people to take care of me and help me in my home to do all kinds of daily household chores. I do not want to be that person to ask for money but I no longer have a choice. I just want my last days to be as good as possible and spend the rest of my time with friends and family and create good memories. I just need help to be able to live the days I still have left.
