Being diagnosed with cancer this last year has caused financial hardship during treatment and recovery. Since my diagnosis, medical treatments, hospitalizations, and the inability to work consistently have created significant financial strain. Like many patients navigating serious illness, I have had to rely on credit cards to cover basic expenses during treatment and recovery. The emotional and physical toll of cancer has been overwhelming, and the added stress of mounting bills has made it even more challenging to focus on healing.

Throughout this journey, I have done my best to stay positive and hopeful, but the reality is that the financial burden has become too much to manage alone. I am starting this fundraiser to help pay down the debt that accumulated while fighting cancer so that I can focus on healing without the overwhelming weight of financial stress. The funds will help with recovery expenses, medical bills, and credit card debt since I haven’t been able to work for over a year. Every bit of support will help me move forward and regain stability.

My hope is not rooted in positive thinking or personal strength, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. God entered our suffering by sending His Son, who lived the sinless life we could not live, died the death we deserved on the cross, and rose again in victory over sin and death. Because Christ bore our sin and conquered the grave, suffering is no longer meaningless and death is no longer the end. Through faith in Him, we are reconciled to God, held securely in His love, and promised eternal life where pain, sickness, and sorrow will one day be no more. Cancer does not get the final word. Jesus does.
