In March 2025, i was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a diagnosis that has turned my world upside down. Following the diagnosis was weeks of complications, pain, uncertainty, and countless medical appointments and a hospital stay. Treatments began in June, consisting of chemotherapy and radiation, and while the path is long and difficult, I can do it. The reality behind the scenes is this: life doesn't pause for cancer.

Between daily travel for treatment, soaring utility bills, the cost of groceries, and other critical living expenses, the financial toll has become difficult.
