•El 1 de marzo de 2026, la vida de nuestra familia cambió por completo cuando mi hermano Marlon Pleitez de 28 años de edad sufrió un paro cardíaco inesperado. Desde ese día, ha permanecido en el hospital y ha estado entubado mientras los médicos hacen todo lo posible por ayudarlo.

A consecuencia del paro cardíaco, mi hermano sufrió daños cerebrales. Los doctores nos han explicado que tomará mucho tiempo poder determinar exactamente el alcance del daño y cuánto podría recuperar con el tiempo, ya que su proceso será largo e incierto.

Nuestra familia está enfrentando ahora mismo un momento emocionalmente muy difícil, y a medida de tiempo nos veremos afectados con gastos médicos y necesidades relacionadas con su cuidado, rehabilitación y el apoyo que necesitará durante este largo camino de recuperación.

Por esta razón estamos pidiendo la ayuda de nuestra comunidad, amigos y cualquier persona que pueda apoyar. Cada donación, sin importar la cantidad, nos ayudará a cubrir gastos médicos, hospitalarios y los cuidados que mi hermano necesitará en el futuro.

•On March 1st, 2026, our family’s life changed completely when my 28-year-old brother, Marlon Pleitez, suffered an unexpected cardiac arrest. Since that day, he has remained in the hospital and has been intubated while doctors continue doing everything they can to help him.

As a result of the cardiac arrest, my brother suffered brain damage. Doctors have explained that it will take time to determine the full extent of the damage and how much recovery may be possible, as his healing process will be long and uncertain.

Our family is currently going through an incredibly difficult emotional time, and as time goes on we will also be facing significant medical expenses and needs related to his care, rehabilitation, and the support he will require during this long road to recovery.

For this reason, we are asking for the support of our community, friends, and anyone who is willing to help. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us cover medical bills, hospital expenses, and the care my brother will need moving forward.
