Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to ask for your support for someone really special to me. My best friend, Mayra, has recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She needs urgent surgery, but the costs are overwhelming, especially since she had to stop working due to her condition and move back in with her parents.

Mayra is from Mexico, and we met during one of the best experiences of our lives when we were au pairs in California. She quickly became my closest friend and biggest support. Her kindness, faith, and strength have always inspired me. No matter the challenge, she finds a way to keep her faith strong and help those around her.

Now, it's my turn to be there for her. She's always been the first to give, whether it’s her time, love, or encouragement. Now it’s our turn to help her.

The money we raise will go directly toward her surgery and medical bills so she can focus on getting better without worrying about money.
