Hi, my name is Jay.
For over 30 years, I’ve been battling Crohn’s disease. It’s something that has shaped my life in ways most people never see—countless doctor visits, pain, setbacks, and trying to stay strong through it all.
This January, I went through my 6th surgery, which resulted in an ostomy. I was trying to focus on recovery and getting back to my family and normal life, but just three weeks later, I was back in the hospital fighting a serious infection. It’s been exhausting—physically, emotionally, and financially.
Since January, I haven’t been able to work, and I’m currently without pay. Providing for my family has always meant everything to me, and being in this position is incredibly hard. Asking for help is not something that comes easy to me—I honestly hate having to do it—but right now, I can’t do this alone.
Your support will help cover:
Basic living expenses and food for my family
Medical supplies I now rely on daily
Hospital and surgery-related costs not covered by insurance
Household bills while I’m unable to work
If you’re able to give anything—$1, $5, $10, or $20—it would mean more than I can put into words. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this would help more than you know.
Thank you for taking a moment to read this, and for standing with me and my family during one of the hardest times in our lives.
