I'm starting this fundraiser for my brother as he battles a serious bacterial infection that has entered his blood stream, affecting his brain, left lung, heart, eyes, motor skills in his left hand and has also caused him to suffer a stroke. He has been in the hospital for several days, and after recent testing, we still do not have a definitive answer about the type of infection, its cause, or his prognosis.

We also do not have any news on the duration of his stay is expected to be, which means he will be out of work and without income for an unknown period. The funds raised will help cover his ongoing living and medical expenses during his hospital stay, including rent, utilities, car payments, and hospital bills.

I traveled from Salt Lake City, Utah to Vancouver, Washington to be with him during this crisis, and it has been hard to watch him face so much uncertainty while everyday bills continue to build.
