This is my beautiful and strong Aunt Nikki, who is facing a serious setback in her brave battle with breast cancer. She’s been very private in this journey. But she needs her friends and family to rally. It’s hard to ask for help for yourself. So, I am asking for her.

After chemo, a double mastectomy and radiation, we prayed the worst was in the rearview. But during a recent routine screening, the doctor found a new tumor. This means more aggressive treatments—including surgery and radiation—all starting immediately.

We don’t know how long Nikki will be out of work, which means she won’t have any income. I’m asking you to help alleviate some of her financial burden, so she can focus on getting well. Let’s get Nikki through this painful and scary chapter with dignity by helping to meet some of her basic needs.
