For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of hiking the entire Appalachian Trail. At the end of March me and my girlfriend, Laura, are setting out to make that dream a reality—a journey that will take us through over 2,000 miles of wilderness, challenge our limits, and offer countless opportunities for growth. This adventure means stepping away from work and income for five months, but I believe the lessons and experiences I’ll gain will enrich every part of my life when I return to my job, community, and family.
Nature has always been my greatest teacher. Years of backpacking have shown me how being outdoors roots my spirit and resets my mind. I feel most alive and grateful when I’m surrounded by the simple things: warmth, water, food, and the company of others. The discomforts of the trail—long days, unpredictable weather, and the constant push to keep moving—are what make those small comforts so meaningful. It’s in those moments of challenge that I find the deepest sense of gratitude and connection to the world around me.
I’m inviting friends, family, and anyone who feels inspired by this journey to support me if you’re able. Your contributions will help cover updated gear, food, supplies, and some bills while I’m away, making it possible for me to focus fully on the trail and the experience. I’ll be sharing video updates along the way so you can follow my progress and be part of this adventure with me. Thank you for considering support and for helping me turn this lifelong dream into reality.
