I’m raising funds for my educational platform for kids, which teaches technology and also shares Black history. The platform is focused on AI, programming, and cybersecurity, and I’m also teaching kids how to stay safe online. I’ve already created a cartoon and a book for this project. I’m working to keep building it so I can reach more young people with stories and lessons that prepare them for the age of AI.

I’ve spent 20 years working in IT and the last 10 years in cybersecurity, and this project is an extension of the knowledge and experience I want to pass on to the next generation. Right now, I’m funding everything myself, and that has made it harder to move the project forward as quickly as I want to. I’ve received great feedback, and people have told me they want to hear these stories, which has encouraged me to keep going. I’m also releasing a new episode this weekend, and I want to keep that momentum going.

Support from this fundraiser will help me cover the ongoing costs of AI tools, marketing, video editing, and a book artist. Those are the pieces that help me continue creating new content, improving what I’ve already built, and getting it in front of the kids and families it’s meant to serve. Predictable recurring support would help me keep these tools and creative services in place over time, while one-time donations would also make a real difference and help me move faster.

My goal is to grow this project enough to fully commit to educating and preparing the next generation for the age of AI. If you’d like to learn more about what I’m building, you can visit my website at codekidz.co and my YouTube channel at @CodeKidzCo. If you believe in helping kids learn technology, programming, cybersecurity, stay safe online, and connect with Black history in a meaningful way, please consider donating or sharing my fundraiser. Every bit of support helps me keep creating and bringing more of this project to life.
