Good evening everyone,

I want to preface this by saying that this will be a tough few sentences to read, but it is very important to myself, my friend Amir, his father Mustafa & family, and all of the friends & people he has known over nearly the last 4 decades.

**Please bear in mind this is the best information we currently have so if I misspeak, I will update the details later**

I regret to inform you that in the last couple of weeks, our dear friend Amir Brgulja was diagnosed with late-stage T-Cell Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. He has gone through multiple operations at Baylor Scott & White ICU in Plano to try and prevent the cancer from spreading but to no avail. This particular lymphoma has been extremely aggressive and moved from the stomach to his liver and kidneys. Those have shut down in the last 24 hours and now he is at the point where the doctors are of the professional opinion that he may have very little time left, likely hours or days though we don't know for sure. He is sedated currently, but we at least know that he can still hear us when we talk to him and his pain levels are being managed well. Either way, the end prognosis is not positive despite all efforts.

The reason for this GoFundMe is to help his father, Mustafa Brgulja, financially for medical treatment, bills, and normal expenses in the coming weeks and months. It would help him with those burdens so he can focus on next steps and grieve with minimal stress. Amir and his father are two of the most selfless, kind, and loving humans we are lucky to know, and your support means the world. We appreciate all donations & words of love and encouragement; we cannot express that enough!
