Support Musical Theatre studies in London :)

Hola! My name’s Bel and I’m a musical theatre performer from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Recently, after a long audition process, I was accepted into an intensive 2 year Musical Theatre Program at ICMT (the International College of Musical Theater) in London, UK. Starting in September 2024!

For me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, more than I ever dreamed of, and a total leap in my carrer, allowing me to learn and grow as an artist in one of the most prestigious musical theatre cities in the world.

I have fortunately received scholarships of over £2000, but still need another £18.000 total to be able to attend. While I am working and actively applying for additional scholarships, these are limited particularly given the deadlines for being able to be in this program. I'm making this GoFundMe to help me cover the first two partial installments of £4,000 each.

A little bit about me:

I grew up in Quilmes, a small town near Buenos Aires. Since I was 17 I auditioned for and was cast in several local productions as an actress and singer and also began studying Musical Theater at University in Buenos Aires, graduating in 2020.

During the pandemic I won a scolarship to train Musical Theater in New York City for a month in February 2023,an experience that not only allowed me to hone my skills but also increased my understanding of theatre world alongside my curiosity for new horizons and challenges. Since 2023, in addition to being in productions in London and Sweden, I began working at a theater in Stockholm as a production assistant intern.

As an artist, I firmly believe in the transformative power of theater and music, and I think that being able to take advantage of the opportunity to be accepted at ICMT would be truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
