Help My Boy Heal After Leg Amputation

Hi friends,

This past week has been a whirlwind — we just welcomed our beautiful new baby girl into the world, and only days later, our best buddy Murray was hit by a car and broke his leg in multiple spots. The vet and I wanted to save the leg but after commencing surgery we realize there was too much damage and the best option was to amputate his leg.

The surgery was successful but the timing couldn’t have been worse. Between caring for a newborn and making sure Murray gets the best post-surgery care, we’re stretched to our limits.

Murray has been in our family for 15 years, and now he needs us more than ever. He’s family, and we’re determined to help him heal, adapt to life on three legs, and get back to his happy self.
