We rescued this precious and sweet Maltese mix (Muneca) with a severe injury to her right eye. After an evaluation by the veterinarian, it was confirmed that the dog was abused and poked in the eye with a sharp object. There is nothing that the vet can do to save the eye; it would need to be surgically removed.

We had no choice but to proceed with the operation, but it drastically impacted our financials. We are asking for your assistance to help us recover some of the vet costs so that we can continue to rescue abused, injured, and neglected dogs like Muneca.
