Support the Multicultural Music Fellowship: Inspiring Young Musicians and Celebrating Cultural Harmony Across the Bay Area!

At the Multicultural Music Fellowship (MCMF), our hearts and hands are devoted to introducing the children in our schools to music from around the world, especially at a time when arts funding is drastically reduced. More than ever, our mission is focused on giving children from all backgrounds the opportunity to discover the joy, confidence, and creativity that come from learning to play music. Through our programs, MCMF is helping to fill the gap, nurturing young musicians who might not otherwise have access to musical education and inspiring a lifelong love of the arts.

While our past concerts and productions have been nothing short of extraordinary, our most incredible pride today lies in our work within the community, where we teach, mentor, and empower the next generation through music. Every note played by a child represents a step toward greater self-esteem, cultural understanding, and harmony.

Founded in 1989, MCMF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to promoting cultural unity through music. Our organization supports harpists and musicians from all backgrounds, curates multicultural performances, and provides enriching musical experiences that bring people together in celebration of shared humanity.

For decades, MCMF has united communities through concerts, educational workshops, and collaborative performances. From nurturing young harpists to highlighting artists from diverse cultural traditions, every event we host celebrates beauty, connection, and the universal language of music.

Now, we invite you to join us in continuing and expanding this vital work.

Why Your Support Matters

Your donation helps us:

  • Bring music education to children in Bay Area schools where arts funding has been reduced.
  • Provide performance and educational opportunities for harpists and musicians of all backgrounds.
  • Produce multicultural concerts and community outreach events that foster unity and understanding.
  • Support youth and emerging artists with mentorship, scholarships, and stage experience.
  • Expand access to live music for underserved communities, schools, and seniors.

Every Dollar Counts – Your Donation Will Be DOUBLED!

We’re thrilled to announce that a generous anonymous donor has pledged to match every dollar donated, up to $5,000. That means your $25 becomes $50, your $100 becomes $200—and together, we can raise $10,000 to sustain and grow our programs in 2026.

How You Can Help

  • Donate Today: Every gift, large or small, makes a real difference.
  • Share Our Campaign: Spread the word to friends, family, and your social networks.
  • Join Us at Our Upcoming Events: Experience firsthand the joy and cultural richness that music brings to our community.

Your generosity keeps the music playing and empowers the next generation of harpists and multicultural artists—children who will carry forward a message of peace, creativity, and connection through their art.

Our campaign will run from November 1 to December 15, 2025.

From all of us at the Multicultural Music Fellowship, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make the Bay Area—and the world—a more harmonious place.

With gratitude and music,

The Multicultural Music Fellowship Board of Directors (MCMF)
