Support Mugi's Recovery and Choco's Care

For anyone that knows me (and for those who don't) - they should know that Mugi and Choco make up my world - they are the twinkling stars in my night sky, and they are the sun for me every morning, even when it's really and truly dark. Mugi is especially my soul dog, but Choco has also always meant a lot to me, being the baby that my late mother and I adopted back in 2013.

If you don't know them, then let me introduce you: Mugi is the red, brownish-golden goofball in the pictures above - his name means 'wheat'. His favorite thing to do is solve puzzles and stamp his favorite people with his nose. Choco is - well - kind of self explanatory: he's the son that looks like a literal piece of chocolate.

And me: I'm just privileged to be their fur momma.

I have a lot of trouble asking for help, but I know that I truly do need it, especially right now. So this is me, kind of going out on a limb, but I'm hoping that anyone can extend even just a little relief to my little - but really precious - family and me.

Over the last few months, we've gone through a lot: Mugi's gone through surgery (successfully recovered! yay!) and had multiple vet visits to follow with his newly diagnosed collapsed trachea, as well as follow-up treatment post a major fracture in his tooth. Choco's Cushing's disease and diabetes flared up quite bad recently, and staying on top of his chronic illness has amassed major vet bills. While I've been juggling both of their health issues and maintenance, I also unfortunately got into a fairly serious car accident that completely wrecked the front of my car, where I can't currently afford to pick up my car that took nearly a month to be repaired because I literally don't have the funds (I have to pay my $1000 deductible or it cannot leave the auto body shop) - especially after giving what forward money I could towards vet bills, while trying to keep enough in my bank account to slowly pay off the carecredit card I had to open in order to ensure that both Mugi and Choco could receive adequate vet care.

I've been grateful to family and my partner who has let me borrow their cars on occasion in the mean time so that I could continue to bring the two boys to their respective appointments, pick up their meds, and go to and from my work, but needless to say I can't rely on borrowing other peoples' cars forever, and orchestrating borrowing a car when I've had to rush either Mugi or Choco to the vet during an emergency has been really hard.

I would be - and Mugi and Choco would be - extremely grateful for anyone that can help us out during a very difficult financial time. Proceeds will be used to pay off both of their vet bills that is currently sitting around a total of a bit more than 5000, while the additional $1000 in the goal will help me be able to get my car back.

I'm not expecting us to hit our complete goal, but every dollar means a little more relief for the monstrous pile of debt I have right now due to these bills, and even a link share goes a long way.

God knows I don't make even nearly enough on my own through my work to pay for Mugi or Choco's vet bills, nevermind my car deductible post-accident (yay healthcare - sort of).
