Support Muffin's Urgent Surgery

Hello family & friends

My name is Acacia Fellner. I am writing this with much sadness in my heart. Love muffin my beloved fur baby was in a tragic accident and has a broken leg requiring surgery. And many of you who know me… know how important she is to me. Muffin has a weird break. A distal femur fracture on her right leg. Kind of ironic since I had the same thing happen to my right leg from my cancer 2 years ago.

Because she is 6 years old and her growth plates are fused, this will never heal properly on its own leaving her in pain and unable to run again. She needs an hour long surgery to put a plate in her leg. I have 7 days to be ready to put her into surgery. I am reaching out for support. This is an expensive surgery with 4,000 on the low end. I have been trying to get back on my feet the last 2 years after going through cancer treatment. I am a full time nursing student who does not have the funds for this at the moment.

Muffin is a very special dog… who has been through everything with me since she was a baby. She has become my service animal. I truly appreciate any help that takes this financial burden and stress off my shoulders.
