hi everyone, my name is Arielle, and this is my sweet boy Muffin it breaks my heart writing this, but friday night Muffin was attacked while we were outside on our yard. i am currently 6months pregnant and Muffin is my number one protector. he’s by my side no matter what, as this dog entered our yard Muffin knew right away to protect me and his little brother. with everything happening so fast and by the time we got inside i knew something was wrong. when i looked at his face, i noticed his eye was protruding out. in a panic i knew i had to act fast, im beyond grateful my best friend was nearby to take us to the emergency. by the time we got to the emergency, Muffins eye had stopped reacting. he had no reflexes of the pupil whatsoever. emotions running high, i couldn’t believe my sweet boy was about to lose his eye forever. Muffin went into surgery friday night (12/19/2025) and has been recovering since then. thing have been very different and difficult to adjust to. i’m beyond grateful and thankful my boy is still here and healthy with just one eye. during this difficult time, we truly appreciate all the love and support for Muffins recovery. thank you
