Our sweetest Muffin has been sick and hospitalized for over a week now. She has ITP which is a disease where the immune system destroys its own platletes and red blood cells. The amazing vets and nurses at medvet are doing everything in their power to save her. We have her on 2 immunosuppressants, chemo, an immunoglobulin treatment and she has needed 3 blood transfusions. I do have pet insurance but we have reached the max on that and are now reaching the double digits in medical care costs. We are asking for donations so we can continue to give her the best treatment and if she does end up passing we'll rest easier knowing that we have done everything in our power to save her.
