Hi everyone! My name is Ava Brady! I’m fundraising for a cause that means a lot to me!In a week I will be running the Brooklyn half marathon to honor my grandmother who passed away from multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease which disables the ability for mobility in the body. My grandmother struggled for years without a diagnosis. She lived the rest of her life in and out of the hospital missing important parts of her 6 children’s childhood. Currently there are no cures for these diseases. Researchers have now found more advanced treatment and are now able to diagnose and have medication to help comfort the patient. But it comes with a price. I want to help families who have to deal with the pain of their family members. Anything helps these families. Please help me reach my goal of $2,000 to help families in need and honor the strength of my nana. Thank you!
