Support Ms. Shirley Mathis’ Health Journey
Donation protected
Ms. Mathis is an amazing educator whose results are evident by the countless children she educated.
We are the parents, family members, students, colleagues and administrators for this amazing teacher who has been committed to children and education for over 35 years. SHIRLEY MATHIS needs us to do for her what she has done for so many first, second and fifth graders - show love and support.
Ms. Mathis was unexpectedly diagnosed with multiple-myleoma and ordered to the doctors office from the school immediately. It was then and there she found out she had to urgently begin chemotherapy because of lesions on her brain and all throughout her body. A few weeks later she found out she would begin radiation which was not a part of the original treatment plan but became necessary after additional testing. She remains resilient and hopeful in the face of it all.
Yes, Ms. Mathis retired 6 years ago after teaching for more than 30 years but she continued to have an amazing impact on children by working in afterschool and summer programs. Because she had to stop working unexpectedly to care for her own health, she needs us to help her through these summer months and into the fall as she continues her treatment and regains her health.
LISTEN - we appreciate you sharing this initiative for Ms. Mathis with everyone you know, but we lovingly let you know that we need more donations than shares. If you are a teacher, student, administrator, colleague, community member who has ever come into contact with Ms. Mathis, you know she deserves 10X the support we are working to give to her. If you have a heart for those who have a heart for others, we know that you will support us as we support Ms. Mathis by donating today.
Give Now. She appreciates it. Give Now. We appreciate it. Give Now. All the children whose lives she has impacted in the classroom and shall continue to impact appreciate it most. The funds raised go directly to Ms. Mathis. Give now and tell a friend, family member and fellow community member to give as well.
We thank you on behalf of Ms. Mathis.
