Hi there! Ms. Sader here! Humbly asking if you'll consider donating any amount to my Public Health classroom funds for the 25-26 school year! Last year this fundraiser was a smashing success, and it allowed me to buy necessary supplies for my room (this year I'm looking for a large visual timer and a phone storage organizer), but more importantly I was able to feed my kiddos throughout the WHOLE year! Many of my sophomores and juniors are food insecure. The school lunch, while free, is typically not the most appetizing, and might be the only promised meal for some on any given day. Last year I was able to create a "shop" in my class where they could pay for healthy snacks with "PROPS" cards they received for going above and beyond. It really got kids involved in class, and was a HUGE help for students who I know do not eat enough during the day. I was also able to bring food on field trips for students who could not afford to buy lunch. This will be my final year teaching at Oakland High School, and I'd really like to be able to continue offering this in my class, but cannot afford it on my own.
