Support Ms. Rebelo's Classroom Tech Upgrade

Dear Friends and Family,

After 25 years in the classroom, I’ve seen how the right tools can truly transform teaching and learning. Over the years, I’ve used everything from overhead projectors with those clear plastic sheets and more projectors and speakers than I can remember, each with its own set of cords, remotes, chargers, complications, and limitations. I have Jordan, our IT guy, on speed dial and am hoping to make my and his life easier. Today, I would like to introduce a more seamless and effective solution into my classroom: an 85-inch television that will allow me to wirelessly cast lessons, documents, artwork, maps, presentations, videos, and films with clarity and ease. A powerful digital screen would allow me to present dynamic lessons that will engage my students.

Casting means no wires, no cords, no random remotes. There would be no need for bluetooth speakers that need to be plugged in or charged. I may be able to avoid tripping 3+ times a day.

This upgrade would not only reduce tech-related disruptions, but also enhance student engagement, support visual learners, and allow me to focus more on teaching than troubleshooting! It’s a big investment, which is why I’m reaching out to those who know how deeply I care about my students and the quality of the work I do. If you’re able to contribute any amount toward helping me bring this vision to life, I would be incredibly grateful. My students would be grateful, too. And Jordan, our IT guy. Oh, and my husband who doesn't want to me spend my own money on school because dammit, education should be better funded, will be grateful. Yes, yes, Andy. We all agree.
