I am requesting your help in assisting a senior citizen who has spent her life helping others. Ms. Joey Ingoglia was violently attacked in her home by her tenant on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Her tenant tried to strangle and suffocate her to death on her front steps. She sustained numerous physical injuries such as bruised ribs, a broken rib, pneumonia, a bacterial eye infection, laryngitis, post-traumatic stress, and anxiety. Because of her physiological and physical injuries, she fell into a depression and found it hard to leave her bed for weeks and was even more isolated because she literally couldn't speak for almost a week because of the laryngitis.

Ms. Ingoglia is a sixty-six-year-old single woman who works only part-time and lives on a fixed income. Because her tenant has violently harassed her, she needed to obtain an attorney to begin the eviction of her attacker and tenant from her home.

She has a full order of protection. But this did not stop her attacker from breaking into her house just days after he was released, which was the very next day after the attack. The police came and arrested him again. But with NYC laws the way they are, he has already been released again. She is living in fear for her life in her own home! Thus, this Go Fund Me Page is being established to help her with the following expenses:

1. Payment of missing rent,

2. Payment needed to obtain an attorney to begin the eviction process,

3. Payment needed to pay for medical bills incurred,

4. Payment needed to install a security system and install reinforced dead-bolt locks in her home.

5. Payment for the apartment repairs due to the extensive damage caused by the attacker/tenant.
