If you’ve walked by Barcroft Elementary in the morning or afternoon, you know Ms. Hunter—our dedicated crossing crossing guard who keeps our kids safe every day. She greets families and teachers, checks in on the children, and brings a true sense of community to our neighborhood.

Recently, Ms. Hunter has faced significant financial hardship and no longer has reliable transportation. Her car is essential for getting to work and taking her daughter to medical appointments, and the strain of the payments has been a challenge for her.

In the spirit of the holiday season, we’re raising funds to help Ms. Hunter pay off her car $8,000 car loan so she can continue supporting her family and serving our neighborhood without this burden.
