Help a Free School in Vietnam Give Kids and Adults a Future Through Education
In a small classroom in Vietnam, kids show up hours early. Not because they have to, but because they want to. They're all ages, and they're some of the most motivated, passionate students you'll ever meet. What they share is one belief: that learning English will open the door to a different life.
Here, English is everything. Without it, opportunities are painfully limited. With it, these kids can become tour guides, open restaurants, and connect to the wider world. English is the difference between a narrow path and a life full of options.
The school is completely free. It was founded by Ms. Ha, an extraordinary, independent woman who knows firsthand what a single act of generosity can do. Years ago, someone believed in her and gave her a chance. She took it, and instead of keeping that gift, she paid it forward. She opened this school to give the same opportunity to kids who otherwise wouldn't have it. That's the heart of this story: one act of kindness becoming a cycle that keeps changing lives.
But the school runs on very little, and every dollar goes directly to keeping the doors open and reaching more kids:
