Help Ms. Angela Cabil Rebuild After Losing Everything in a Devastating House Fire
On November 15th, tragedy struck when beloved 3rd grade teacher Ms. Angela
Cabil of Greensboro Elementary School in Greensboro, Alabama lost her home in a catastrophic house fire. The house was completely destroyed. Everything she worked for—her personal belongings, her family’s keepsakes, and the home that she opened to so many—was lost in an instant.
Ms. Cabil is currently hospitalized and will have medical bills on top of the loss of her home and belongings.
Ms. Cabil is the kind of person every community dreams of having. She has dedicated her life to serving others, both inside and outside the classroom. She is:
- A passionate 3rd grade teacher who pours her heart into her students
- President of the Newbern Library, where she volunteers countless hours
- A committed educator in the Sawyerville Learning summer program
- A Saturday tutor for children needing extra support
- A helper at the After-School Homework Program at the library
- A pillar of her family and a loving grandmother who plays an essential role in her grandchildren’s lives
- Angela has spent her life giving—giving time, love, guidance, and even her home. She has opened her doors to many people in need of shelter, never asking for anything in return. Now, after this unimaginable loss, she is the one who needs help.
We are asking the community she has served so faithfully to come together and support her during this devastating time. Funds will go directly toward helping Angela secure housing, replace basic necessities, and begin rebuilding her life from the ground up.
No amount is too small, and every donation brings Angela one step closer to stability and relief.
