Car Repairs for Ms. B, Lightning Survivor & SpecEd Teacher
Donation protected
Don't worry — the duct tape is fresh! For now, anyway.
Hey everybody, I'm Luca Fisher. Some of you might know me as a games journalist, others as a game developer. But today, you get to meet my housemate, Ms. B: a single mom and lightning strike survivor who has dedicated her life to uplifting neurodiverse kids in elementary and middle school. I'm organizing this fundraiser on her behalf (and her car's behalf, I suppose).
Today, the bumper fell off. Again. Our household relies on this car to get around; Ms. B needs it to get to work. As we all know, being a teacher in America is too often a thankless job, and the pay is too slim. We live paycheck to paycheck, and getting this duct-taped and zip-tied bumper fixed up isn't feasible for us right now. Not without your help.
Our current goal is $750, which is our estimate for the total cost of re-securing the bumper. Any extra funds will be saved for (hopefully) buying another used car for Ms. B in the coming years. God knows she deserves a break for all the good she's done and continues to do in the world.
Thanks for reading and for sharing the campaign! Take care.
