My name is Carol Auquilla, but my students affectionately call me Ms. A. I am proud to teach at M.S. 127 - The Castle Hill Middle School, a Title 1 school located in the vibrant heart of Parkchester in the Bronx. We are home to incredible students who are passionate, hardworking, and constantly striving for excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
At M.S. 127, we believe in empowering our students by broadening their horizons through opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. This GoFundMe campaign aims to lower the out of pocket expenses for our low-income 8th grade senior families and provide life-changing experiences:
- Educational trips that expand their understanding of the world.
- Essential academic supplies to deepen learning experiences
- End of the year senior activities: graduation, prom, senior trip and dues
- Positive behavioral reward activities that reinforce and reward students building community
