Many of you know Michelle Hall (better known as Mrs. Hall), BGM’s beloved 4th-grade teacher, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. For a decade, she has poured her heart into the lives of countless students and families—shaping futures, comforting hearts, and creating a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and at home.

It speaks volumes about the impact she’s made that students from years past continue to stop by her classroom just to say hello. Michelle has a gift for making every child feel seen and valued, and she has given our community immeasurable kindness, patience, and joy. She is selfless, dedicated, and endlessly generous with her time and her heart.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Michelle has had to step away from the classroom to focus on her health as she begins a long and challenging treatment journey. She will undergo six rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a full year of infusion treatments, as well as surgery along the way. As many know, cancer is not only devastating—it is overwhelmingly expensive. During this time, she will be out of work, and the financial burden of treatment, medical bills, and everyday living expenses is heavy.

Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward Michelle’s medical care, ongoing treatments, and essential daily needs. Your support will give her the ability to focus on what truly matters: healing, resting, and spending precious time with her family.
