Coming from humble beginnings, I was often told that "girls like us" don’t get that far in life.

We aren't always seen as elegant, poised, or classy—but the truth is, we are all that and more.

Since middle school, I’ve been breaking glass ceilings. I became the first in my family to graduate high school, college, and law school. I've had to work twice as hard, often with no real-life examples of what it means to be educated, sophisticated, and divine—but I’ve never let that stop me.

Now, as Mrs. Delaware American 2025, I have the honor of competing on the national stage at the Mrs. American Pageant. This isn’t just about a crown—it’s about representation. It’s about showing my three daughters, and every young woman watching, that you are not defined by your circumstances—you are defined by your strength, vision, and faith.
