Support Mrs. Claire & Brother Claudel After Max's Loss
Donation protected
Max was an incredible woman, a generous daughter, a full-time caregiver for her mom with dementia, Mrs. Claire, and a 27-year star member of the Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) family.
She tragically passed away at 48 years old on Friday, November 29, 2024, just 60 days after a stage four pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
When discovered, the cancer had already invaded her liver. Max's journey became more complicated when her oncologist found blood clots in her lungs, and she had a stroke on November 9 that impacted the left side of her body.
None of us were prepared for this.
Max's elder brother, Claudel, describes her as "relentlessly positive!"
She had energy, purpose, a God-given vision and faith, goals, and plans. Her life was already a living testimony.
If you followed my updates on Max's CaringBridge, you know that when she went to be with the Lord the day after Thanksgiving, she had been preparing to regain her strength to take care of herself. Her big brother was by her side. He had been her steadfast support and confidant through her illness. She bragged to me about how proud she was of how he stepped up.
Now that Max is gone, her elder brother Claudel is left grieving while also trying to manage the process of settling her estate, covering expenses, and providing myriad specialized care Max provided for their mother.
I created this fundraiser because I love Max and her family. I've tried to support them with my presence over the last few weeks.
I want Claudel and Mrs. Claire to have great support, encouragement, and all the help they need as we navigate a world that is a little dimmer without Max's bright light.
