Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out because our sweet boy, Mr. stinky, needs help.

Mr. stinky isn’t just a pet — he’s family. He’s my constant companion and my daughter’s best friend. He brings so much comfort, laughter, and love into our home, and the thought of her watching him struggle breaks my heart.

Mr. stinky has already been so brave in his short life being only 1.5 years old. He lives with an autoimmune disorder and needs daily medication (Atopica) to keep his own immune system from attacking his body. Recently, we noticed he was breathing much faster than normal. After rushing him to the vet and getting X-rays, we learned he has signs of bronchitis and that his heart appears enlarged and sits low, along with a known heart murmur. These findings mean he now needs further testing, cardiology care, and ongoing treatment to help him breathe comfortably and keep his heart strong.

Between specialist visits, imaging, medications, and long-term management, the costs are quickly becoming overwhelming. I will do everything in my power to give Mr. stinky the care he needs, but I can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for help so that this little soul who has already fought so much can have a chance at a long, comfortable life — to keep purring and playing.
