Support Mr. Stephen Harmon – A Veteran, Builder, and Fighter – On His Road to Recovery

Mr. Stephen Harmon is more than just a legend in the construction industry—he’s a soldier, a leader, and a man who has dedicated his life to building and protecting others.

For decades, Stephen Harmon has been a cornerstone of the construction world—a builder of communities, a mentor to many, and a relentless worker who never backed down from a challenge. Known for his unmatched work ethic, unwavering integrity, and heart of gold, Stephen Harmon has poured his strength into building homes, businesses, and futures for others.

Now, after undergoing an intensive triple bypass surgery, it’s him who needs our support.

Stephen didn’t suffer a full heart attack but it was dangerously close. After being rushed to the hospital, doctors discovered three severe arterial blockages: one at 100%, another at 90–95%, and the third over 75%. He immediately underwent a triple bypass surgery that ultimately saved his life.

The real hero in this story is his loving girlfriend, Rose, who insisted he go to the hospital that day. Doctors told him that had he waited even a couple more weeks, the outcome could have been fatal and irreversible.

What’s even more alarming is that his stress test showed no signs of trouble. This was hereditary, and the danger was quietly building beneath the surface.

Stephen is now in recovery, but doctor’s orders are clear: absolutely no work-related conversations or calls. The emotional and mental stress is putting his blood pressure at dangerously high levels and could compromise his healing, including the grafts and drainage tubes near his heart. He remains hospitalized and is under close watch.

For more than 20 years, Stephen has dedicated his life to lifting up this industry training and mentoring students, adjusters, contractors, public adjusters, appraisers, roofers, mitigation consultants, attorneys, and trainers. He’s been there for countless people in their toughest moments, always helping them rebuild, grow, and move forward.

This life-saving procedure has put him on a long road to recovery—one that comes with significant medical expenses, time away from work, and the need for ongoing care. As someone who has always given his all to everyone else, asking for help doesn’t come easy for him. But right now, even the strongest foundations need reinforcement.

Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign—means the world. Let’s rally around a true legend and help him rebuild his strength, just like he’s helped so many others build theirs.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Harmon served 12 ½ years as an Infantryman, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He stood among the best as a 60 Gunner and Squad Leader with the elite 82nd Airborne Infantry Paratroopers out of Ft. Bragg, NC. Later, he served with the 4th Infantry Division Mechanized Bradley Unit at Ft. Carson, CO, where he was a Platoon Sergeant and Bradley Commander until injuries led to his early medical retirement.

I have heard him say “Follow Me” in many occasions and he's proved it isn’t just a motto—it’s how he’s lived his life, both in uniform and out. That same unshakable commitment followed him into the civilian world, where he became a pillar in the construction industry, mentoring countless workers, leading projects with integrity, and never asking for anything in return.

Today, Mr. Harmon is facing one of the biggest battles of his life—recovery.

This campaign is a call to action for all who know him, have worked beside him, or have been inspired by his strength. Now it’s our turn to say, “Follow Me,” and put into action by standing by his side.

Please consider donating and sharing this page. Every dollar, prayer, and kind word helps as we support Mr. Harmon while he rebuilding his strength and so that he can keep on continuing his mission in life.

Thank you for standing with Mr. Harmon and his family during this time. Your support means more than words can express.

With his full blessing, Jason and I started this GoFundMe to support Stephen during this critical recovery period. He would never ask unless it was truly necessary and right now, it is.

Stephen is down, but not out. He’ll be back. Stronger, wiser, and full of fire.

In the meantime, if anyone has questions or wants to offer support, please feel free to contact Jason Elmer directly but kindly hold off on any estimate or work-related matters until he’s medically cleared.

Let’s surround him with the love and strength he’s always given so freely to others.
