Mr. Randy has always been there for others—supporting families in our community and cheering on countless kids in sports. Now, he’s facing a tough battle with melanoma that started in his foot and has spread to his groin area. After some time away from sharing updates, we want to let everyone know what’s happening and how much your support could mean.

Mr. Randy is about to begin immunotherapy treatments at the cancer center in Blue Ridge, with his first round scheduled for Monday. The plan is to have two sessions of immunotherapy, with a doctor’s appointment in between. If the treatments are effective, the focus will shift back to his foot. If not, surgery to remove lymph nodes may be necessary. While immunotherapy is generally less aggressive than traditional chemotherapy, there are still risks and side effects, and the journey ahead is uncertain. Through it all, Mr. Randy remains hopeful and grateful for every prayer and kind thought.
