If any of your children have been involved in scholastic chess in NYC you probably know who Mr. Lewis is. He has been a dedicated coach and mentor, giving his time and heart to help our kids grow and succeed through chess. He’s taught at many schools, both public and private. Now, Mr. Lewis is facing some major health complications. In a span of three weeks he went from a toe infection to having a foot amputated. It is unclear about how much his insurance will cover. He will need support at home.

James has always given to our children from the heart, and now he could use us doing the same for him. The funds raised will go directly toward covering his bills and providing the home care he will need during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Mr. Lewis focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
