Support Mr. Howlett During His Emergency Heart Surgery

As we always do as Hawks nation, we are coming together to support Mr. Andrew Howlett and his family. Mr. Howlett underwent triple bypass surgery on June 6th in Boston. Mr. Howlett's expenses while being hospitalized for almost two weeks, with an undetermined discharge date, are growing each day. Mr. Howlett's health insurance only covers a certain percentage of costs and does not cover the full cost and related expenses. Mr. Howlett has just recently come out of the ICU after Friday's surgery and expenses will continue to accrue in the weeks and months ahead, due to the long recovery process associated with this type of surgery. This is an additional burden on his family and our $75,000.00 goal is to ease as much of the emotional and financial burden that this unexpected event poses. We are asking all current and former faculty and staff, friends and family, students and alumni to pray, spread the word, and donate whatever they are able, to help Mr. Howlett with medical expenses and rehabilitation on the long road ahead. The outpouring of support, so far from gifts to prayers has truly been appreciated.
