Hello everyone, my name is Amber. I am the oldest daughter of the family. I am here to try and raise money for my mom and stepdad.

They have hit a rough spot in life. It all started with Mr. Chris getting laid off from his job 2 1/2 months ago, which was the main income of the household. Then, my mom got hit by someone on April 9, 2025, which put her out of work as well. But since Mr. Chris couldn’t find work, my mom was trying to push through and work as much as she possibly could.

Then they got the good news that Mr. Chris was starting work on Friday, May 23, 2025. But then everything went south from there. On May 22, 2025, Mr. Chris and my oldest son Kylen were going fishing. Mr. Chris was loading everything on the boat when an 18-year-old drunk driver hit the boat. Mr. Chris was standing up in the boat and was thrown off. He is now in the hospital with 8 broken ribs on the left side, 2 broken ribs on the right side, a punctured lung on the left side, and a separation in his left shoulder. As of today, May 23, 2025, he will be going into surgery at 12:30 pm. Then, as he doesn’t have insurance he will be getting hospital bills.
