Mr. Bald Memorial Fund
Donation protected
This fund used to be for the critical care of my kitten. Mr. Bald passed away on August 21, 2024. After further testing it was determined that he developed incorrectly. He’s the runt from a litter of 9 so statistically there was gonna be a cat with complications. His symptoms just showed now, but even if it was caught earlier he was gonna live a short life regardless. Due to his overlapping conditions and lack of ability to recover, I allowed the hospital to humanely euthanize him. He spent his last moments receiving cuddles and hugs from me and his godparents. He ate some Churru and fell asleep smiling with a full belly :) I am so thankful that I was able to provide him with a loving home in the meantime. Long live Mr. Bald! I hope running and catching birds in heaven. I am converting his care fund into a memorial fund that helps pay for his sister to receive diagnostic testing to ensure she gets to live a long happy life.
// My original statement is below:
Hello, I am a college student and my 4-month-old cat, Nathaniel Archibald (Mr. Bald), is in the hospital under critical condition. He is paralyzed and possibly has a condition called FIP, which used to be considered a death sentence, but recently the FDA has approved a medication where cats have made a full recovery. In addition to FIP, he also has neurological complications due to toxoplasma which affects his mobility and eyes.
Just in his first day of emergency care, I have exhausted all of my personal funds, including from my savings account in order to care for my cat. I would not be spending all of this if it were not possible for him to make a full recovery and receive the care he deserves, but the only obstacle is my ability to pay. I have received an estimate from the vet of $4400-6400 for his treatments over the next couple of days and I need to pay it immediately. Because I was unable to pay upfront, I have to bring him home and hope he is stable enough to survive until I have the funds for his treatment.
He has a twin sister named Clementine who wants nothing more than to play with her brother again. Please donate and share whatever you can to save my son, thank you
