Hi, I'm Katie Lunden and I'm raising money to help pay for significant vet bills my husband and I have had to pay for our 8 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi Moxie who was diagnosed with two different types of lymphoma/leukemia (a less aggressive but chronic T cell lymphoma as well as a more rapidly and aggressive B cell lymphoma) in February 2026. Moxie had already been diagnosed with IVDD and left hip dysplasia in September 2025 for which we also had to pay a significant vet bill in order to have a MRI done.

The MRI we had done in late September 2025 cost $7361 and the first cycle/month of CHOP chemotherapy Moxie completed on March 3, 2026 has cost $7613 alone. We have been told the first two months/cycles of weekly CHOP chemotherapy is the most intensive (and thus the most costly), followed by an additional two months of less intensive chemotherapy/cancer treatment. Due to the intensity of treatment as well as length of treatment, Katie has had to make adjustments to her work schedule that include not being able to work as much or take on new work that would bring in more income to help contribute to Moxie's veterinary bills. We also have ongoing concerns about her back and hip issues that may also require ongoing veterinary care.

In the past six months, we have spent $15,000 on Moxie's vet bills. We love our corgi girl so much and at the same time, it's been very overwhelming. We are so heartbroken about Moxie's cancer diagnosis and it's been challenging having to make some very tough decisions from week to week as we go about the chemotherapy process.

We don't know how this will be financially sustainable for much longer. Any amount of money you could donate to help us would be so humbly and lovingly appreciated by me, my husband, and of course, our Moxie.
