Support Movember and a Minor Hockey Team's Dream!

For the month of November, the Leaside Flames Minor Atom AA Hockey Team, siblings, coaches and parents have been selling Limited Edition Movember Babsocks to raise money for the Ahead of the Game program, while also hoping to win a once in a lifetime dream opportunity to have a team practice run by Mike Babcock, Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs!

The team only has until this Friday, November 30th at 11:59pm to sell the most pairs of socks, and they have been working hard to get there!

HOW CAN YOU HELP THIS DREAM COME TRUE?

- Donate to buy 1 or more pairs of the Movember Limited Edition Babsocks ($20/pair)

All socks purchased will be donated to the Red Door Family Shelter in time for Christmas!!

$5 from the sale of each pair socks will be given directly back to the Movember Foundation in support of the Ahead of the Game Program. 

The team is also giving back it's $5 fundraising portion to support Ahead of the Game!

The other $10 goes back to the good folks at Babsocks for the socks.

They are a fun twist on the original Babcock novelty socks featuring Mike Babcock sporting a Movember Moustache!




WHAT IS AHEAD OF THE GAME?

The Movember Foundation, Babsocks, The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and Mike Babcock (Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs) have partnered to raise funds and awareness for mental health in youth sport through an initiative called Ahead of the Game.
