Support Mount Meru Hospital’s Operating Theatre

Hi, my name is Myriam a medical student from The Netherlands and I have spent the last four weeks volunteering in the operating theatre at Mount Meru Hospital, one of Arusha’s largest referral hospitals. The dedicated surgical team performs about 5-25 surgeries, electives and emergencies, daily in four operating rooms. They solve some of the most challenging cases with remarkable skill and commitment.

However, they face shortages of essential materials, equipment and supplies. What I admire about the staff is that they still make ends meet by improvising and combining their medical knowledge with thinking outside the box. Since it is a referral hospital it is a lot of people’s last hope on solving their medical issues. Your donations can help provide the necessary equipment to support their life-saving work.
